We Never Tell Our Clients This…(And Why It’s the Best Thing We Don’t Do)
One of the first things we tell every client is actually something we won’t do:
We’ll never hand you a one-size-fits-all plan.
Why?
Because your life isn’t one-size-fits-all.
Your body isn’t one-size-fits-all.
Your family sure as heck isn’t one-size-fits-all.
And trying to force yourself into someone else’s version of wellness only leads to burnout, shame, and that lovely loop of “why can’t I just stick with it?”
We’re done with that energy.
Let’s talk about what actually works instead, so you can discover your unique superpowers. 👇
Why Cookie-Cutter Wellness Doesn’t Work
If you’ve ever downloaded a meal plan, jumped into a workout challenge, or tried to “copy-paste” someone else’s routine—only to find it totally unmanageable after a few days—you’re not broken.
You’re just not them.
We are all bio-individual, which means we each have a unique combination of:
Genetics
Hormones
Stress levels
Schedules
Preferences
Responsibilities
And, oh yeah—tiny humans demanding snacks 24/7
So it makes zero sense to expect that what works for someone else will automatically work for you.
(P.S. This is exactly why the Make Me Awesome app works differently—but more on that in another blog.) 📱
So… What Does Work?
Instead of trying to cram yourself into someone else’s plan, it’s time to create a rhythm that’s designed for you—with flexibility, structure, and compassion baked in.
Here are 5 ways to start finding your rhythm:
1. Start with Awareness, Not Willpower
Before overhauling everything, take 3-5 days to track what’s actually happening—no judgment.
Pay attention to:
When you eat (and what)
When your energy crashes
Your sleep patterns
What triggers stress or emotional eating
The natural rhythms of your household (when the chaos peaks or when things tend to settle)
✨ Awareness creates clarity. Clarity creates better choices.
2. Find the “Anchors” in Your Day
Look for natural points in your day where you can reliably add in care for yourself. These “anchors” could be:
That quiet moment after school drop-off
A baby’s nap window
After the kids go to bed
Morning coffee time
Instead of forcing a 5AM bootcamp, find small pockets where self-care fits.
A 10-minute stretch. A nourishing breakfast. A 5-minute dance break with your toddler.
Small, repeated actions = real change.
3. Forget Balance. Focus on Harmony.
We’re not here for the mythical idea of “balance.”
Balance assumes every area gets equal attention at all times—and that’s just not realistic for most parents.
But harmony? That’s the vibe.
Some days, parenting takes the front seat.
Other days, your wellness needs to be prioritized.
Harmony means everything gets a place over time, even if it’s not all at once.
4. Embrace the Messy Middle
Progress doesn’t look like a Pinterest board.
Sometimes wellness is eating veggies and finishing your kid’s leftover mac & cheese.
It’s meditating with Bluey in the background.
It’s doing squats while you bounce a baby on your hip.
You don’t have to “wait for things to calm down” to start.
You just need tools that fit your real life.
5. Get Support That Sees the Whole You
That’s where Lifestyle Coaching comes in.
We help busy parents find their rhythm—not someone else’s idea of perfection.
We look at:
Nutrition that supports energy, hormones, and real-life schedules
Movement that feels good (and fits in 15-minute windows)
Mindset tools that don’t require an hour of silence
Habits that actually stick because they were built for your reality
Real Talk: Parenting Is Messy. Your Wellness Can Still Make Sense.
We’re not here to fix you. You’re not broken.
We’re here to help you find what works for you—in this season, with your family, your body, and your goals.
You don’t need perfection.
